Wat is Podium Auxesis?
Podium Auxesis is our special program focused on developing and supporting young, talented musicians in renaissance and baroque music. The word "Auxesis" comes from Greek and means "growth" or "strengthening" - exactly what we want to achieve for the next generation of early music specialists.

Talent Ontwikkeling
We offer young musicians the chance to develop their skills through intensive coaching, masterclasses and ensemble experience with professional musicians.
Podium Ervaring
Participants get the unique opportunity to perform in prestigious halls and festivals, gaining valuable stage experience alongside renowned musicians.
Netwerk Opbouw
Through our international contacts, we help young musicians build a network within the early music community in the Netherlands and Europe.
Specialisatie
We offer specialized training in historical performance practice, instrumental technique and stylistic knowledge of renaissance and baroque music.
Programma Onderdelen
Annual Masterclass Series
A series of intensive masterclasses throughout the year, led by internationally renowned teachers and members of I Sonatori del Tordinona.
Youth Ensemble
Talented young people between 16-25 years can participate in our special youth ensemble, which regularly performs at schools, smaller venues and as opening act for our main concerts.
Mentorship Program
Each participant is paired with an experienced mentor from our ensemble, who provides personal guidance in technical and artistic development.
Concert Opportunities
Outstanding participants get the chance to perform as soloists or guest musicians with I Sonatori del Tordinona in official concerts.

Barok Masterclass Weekend
Locatie: Muziekcentrum De Bijloke, Gent
Docenten: Isabella van der Berg & Johannes Müller
Intensief weekend over baroktechniek voor viool, altviool en luit. Inclusief ensemble coaching en een afsluitend concert.

Jongerenconcert: "Nieuwe Stemmen"
Locatie: Concertgebouw Amsterdam - Recital Zaal
Programma: Werken van Telemann, Purcell en Bach
Showcase concert van ons jongerenensemble met solistische bijdragen van onze meest getalenteerde deelnemers.

Internationale Uitwisseling
Locatie: Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia, Rome
Programma: Workshop en concert in Rome
Speciale uitwisseling met jonge Italiaanse musici, inclusief workshop in het historische Rome en een gezamenlijk concert.

Compositie Workshop
Locatie: Conservatorium Amsterdam
Docent: Dr. Marco Rossi
Leer de geheimen van renaissance en barokcompositie. Deelnemers componeren eigen werken die uitgevoerd worden door ensemble leden.

Aanmelden & Vereisten
Voor wie?
Music students (bachelor/master level), young professionals up to 30 years, talented amateur musicians with high level, musicians specialized in or interested in early music.
Aanmeldprocedure
Send a CV and motivation letter to auxesis@tordinona.nl, add a video recording (max. 10 minutes) of renaissance or baroque repertoire, wait for invitation for personal audition, audition: preparation of 2 contrasting works (15 min.).
