The workshop is lead by Javier and will be about baroque Italian ornamentation and improvisation

A copy of the Silbermans fortepiano from Berlin is coming to Groningen! 1750-ies was a time for change, for development of instruments, so this is a unique chance to here this innovative sonority!

In the program there will be pieces by CPE Bach, JSBach, Benda and others

With guest musician Gijs Lauceulle (natural horn), Xenia Gogu (violin), Víctor García García (cello) and selected students

The famous symphony by Beethoven arranged for nonet will be heard alongside the masterpiece Hornkwintet by Mozart. Discover what the sonority of the horn around 1800-ies was!
